West Palm Beach is officially getting the crown.
The Miss America Organization announced this week that the 2026 Miss America Competition will take place in West Palm Beach from Aug. 28 through Sept. 6, bringing one of the country’s most iconic events to The Palm Beaches for the first time.
Key events will be hosted at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, and the Hilton West Palm Beach.
The competition will mark 105 years of Miss America and culminate Sept. 6 with the crowning of the 99th Miss America.
The announcement is a major win for Palm Beach County, further cementing West Palm Beach’s rise as one of the country’s fastest-growing destinations for luxury tourism, culture, entertainment, and large-scale events.
“It feels especially meaningful to announce this powerful next step for Miss America,” said Robin Fleming. “The Palm Beaches represent vision, momentum, and possibility, a place where women’s voices, ambition, and achievement can take center stage.”
Milton Segarra called the selection “a significant honor” for the destination.
“For more than a century, Miss America has stood as a national platform for leadership and service,” Segarra said. “Hosting this iconic competition underscores our community’s ability to stage world-class events that bring people together and leave a lasting impact.”
The Palm Beach County Convention Center will serve as the official competition hub, welcoming delegates and visitors from across the country for more than a week of events, scholarship competitions, and celebrations.
Preliminary competitions and the Miss America’s Teen finals will take place at the Kravis Center, placing one of America’s longest-running traditions on one of South Florida’s biggest stages.
With the move to West Palm Beach, Miss America is betting big on Palm Beach County’s growing national profile — and Palm Beach County is getting one of the biggest spotlights in the country.
