The USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards are in—and the West Palm Beach GreenMarket is back on top.
After two years just shy of first place, the Market has reclaimed its title as the No. 1 farmers market in the nation, beating out competitors from across the country, including last year’s winner in Columbia, South Carolina.
Now in its 31st season, the waterfront staple is bigger than ever. This year’s market features a record 150 vendors—45 of them new—marking the largest lineup in its history.
The season runs through May 30, continuing its evolution from a simple shopping spot into a full-fledged weekend destination for locals and visitors alike.
The latest honor marks the fourth time the GreenMarket has earned the top ranking, after a dominant three-year run from 2021 through 2023. It slipped to No. 2 in 2024 and 2025 before climbing back to the top this year.
Mayor Keith A. James credited the community’s support and the market’s signature setting along the Intracoastal as key ingredients in its success, calling it a reflection of what makes West Palm Beach stand out.
Held every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn at 100 N. Clematis Street, the market offers everything from fresh produce and baked goods to flowers, specialty foods, and artisan products—while continuing to spotlight small businesses and local growers.
Bottom line: the crown is back where locals know it belongs.
