Golf legend Jack Nicklaus is once again putting his stamp on Palm Beach County — this time with an ultra-exclusive new private club designed around family, lifestyle, and next-level golf.
Nicklaus, alongside his family and TWG Global, has unveiled NOKOSI: A Nicklaus Family Club, a complete transformation of the former Sherbrooke Golf & Country Club into a high-end, members-only destination just 20 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport.
Construction is already underway on the redesigned golf course, with play expected to begin in late 2026. A new clubhouse and luxury amenities are slated to follow, breaking ground in fall 2026.
For Nicklaus — a South Florida resident for nearly six decades — the project hits close to home.
“This is about family,” he said, describing NzOKOSI as a place built for connection, tradition, and generations to come.
At the center of the club is a brand-new championship course personally designed by Nicklaus, blending strategic play with a layout meant to challenge serious golfers while remaining approachable and enjoyable.
But NOKOSI isn’t just about golf.
Plans call for a full-scale lifestyle club featuring chef-driven dining, upscale social spaces, private event venues, and a premium pro shop with cutting-edge fitting technology. A major focus will also be placed on wellness, with dedicated fitness, recovery, and performance facilities designed to support long-term health and active living.
The club will operate with limited membership, emphasizing exclusivity, community, and a high-touch experience.
Gary Nicklaus, who is leading development, says the goal is simple: build a place where members don’t just play — they stay, connect, and invest in their lifestyle.
Bottom line: In a region already known for elite private clubs, NOKOSI is aiming to raise the bar.
