Plum Market the full-service neighborhood grocer known for its emphasis on natural and organic foods, is officially opening its newest South Florida location today.
The Michigan-based company has taken over a 30,000-square-foot space in Palm Beach Gardens, marking its second Florida outpost and latest expansion in the region.
The brand made its Florida debut in Aventura in 2023, quickly earning “Best of” recognition from both Aventura Magazine and the Miami Herald.
The new Palm Beach Gardens store brings Plum Market’s signature mix of all-natural, organic, and locally sourced products, paired with a fast-casual dining experience. Shoppers will find peak-season produce, a raw juice bar, all-natural meats and sustainable seafood with custom cuts, chef-prepared hot meals, fresh sushi, grab-and-go options, plus a full salad bar and soup station.
The store also features take-away catering, artisan cheese and deli selections, house-baked breads and pastries, and a wide range of dietary-specific items, including kosher, gluten-free, and paleo options. An apothecary section offers vitamins, supplements, and boutique body care, while a curated wine program is overseen by Master Sommelier Madeline Triffon.
“Our focus on local sourcing, with over 100 local brands, reflects our commitment to supporting the community while delivering the freshest, highest-quality products,” said co-founder and CEO Matt Jonna.
Jonna and his brother Marc bring more than 25 years of combined grocery experience. Their family’s legacy dates back to 1974, when their father, Eddie Jonna, founded Merchant of Vino before its eventual sale to Whole Foods. The brothers launched the first Plum Market in Michigan in 2007.
The new location is part of Prosperity Centre, a shopping plaza developed by Regency Centers. According to the company, the store at 2410 PGA Boulevard is expected to employ approximately 150 people.
